Great trail leads quickly to Eightmile Lake and good camping. The scramble around the north side of the lake goes well but climbing through the lower forested slopes requires much more energy and time than we guessed. (Album) |

A light rain storm the night before had left the air clear and clean as I walked the Coastal Trail from Baker to Marshall's Beach. Breaking surf, clouds, blue sky and the bridge partially in the sun made for a very pretty shot. (Album)
