For us this was a five day backpack loop entering on Angry Mtn. and exiting at Packwood Lake. In between we were treated to some truly spectacular scenery like this view of Ives and Old Snowy Peaks from near Mt. Gilbert. (Album) |

September 17 - 18, 2006
A weekend trip to do two peaks that share beautiful alpine Foggy Lake (shown here). Some day hiked in to do Gothic Peak on Saturday with three of us staying on to try Del Campo on Sunday. Excellent scrambles both. (Album) |

I'd never heard of Lost Creek Ridge, but Carrie suggested it for this last minute fall trip. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. Fine camping at Sunup Lake, opportunities to roam the ridges and peaks to scramble close by. (Album) |

Like little kids the dogs just have a ball when that first snow hits. Especially nice for them as the fur coats are pretty warm the rest of the year, but winter was made for them. Eat it, run in it, roll in it. It's all good. (Album not available) |
