We parked at Iron Creek Road & US 97 and followed the snow covered Hovey Creek Road for about 1.5 miles to a spur that runs north and eventually dropped us near Pt. 4002.  We crossed Pt. 4002, climbed the south east trending ridge to Pt. 4943 and followed the ridge top to Pt. 4465 where we exited east to Iron Creek road and followed it back to the cars.

Directions:
 Take I-90 east to Cle Elum.  Exit (think Cle Elum Bakery) and head east through town or exit from I-90 east of town to Hwy 970.  Follow to a junction with Hwy 97 and go north.  We parked at the plowed turnout area at Iron Creek Road and Hwy. 97. Parking is limited.
