Trip with friends on another near perfect day in the Teanaway.  We hiked the Iron Mountain Trail #1399 for a little under 3 miles to where it crosses the saddle between Teanaway and Iron Peaks.  After a short break, we headed north from the saddle, up rock and snow, crossing a rock rib and then a rising traverse on a fairly steep snow field to above a low rocky band where we turned left and kicked steps straight for the summit.  A nice easy rock scramble to the high point and near perfect 360 degree views from the top.  We signed the register and retraced our steps to the saddle.  An easy 10 or 15 minute walk along the ridge gains Iron's summit.  We returned to the saddle and made the quick return trip down the trail to the cars.
